Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Tapping opens a short web page, and their card is saved in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Which phones work?
Recent iPhones and most Android phones can tap. If a phone can't, the tile shows a QR code to scan instead.
What do I need in my shop?
Wi-Fi and a USB plug socket near the till. The tile comes with a USB-C cable; use any standard USB plug, like a phone charger.
Can I change my offer?
Yes, any time, from your dashboard. Customers already collecting keep their current target, and a less generous reward gives 30 days' notice.
How do you stop people cheating?
Each tap is checked so the same phone can't keep collecting stamps, and rewards are claimed on a later visit, with the tile showing your staff it's been claimed.
Does it work with my till?
Usual works on its own, with no till needed. Square connects at launch, so a claimed reward can take the item off the bill. Zettle, SumUp and others are coming.
How much does it cost?
£25 a month plus £79 for the tile, or £275 a year with the tile included. Founding shops pay £19 a month for their first year, plus £79 for the tile. Prices exclude VAT.
Do I pay anything to join the waitlist?
No. It's free and commits you to nothing. We'll email you before launch with the founding offer.
When can I get one?
We're launching in the UK in summer 2027. Join the waitlist and we'll be in touch before then.
What happens to my customers' data?
Usual only keeps what's needed to run your loyalty card, and we follow UK GDPR. You'll get our full privacy notice before launch.
